2017 Honda Ridgeline: Re-imagined & Redesigned

September 8th, 2016 by

The new 2017 Honda Ridgeline is back and better than ever. After its 2 year break, the five-passenger, midsize pickup features a number of innovations to both its interior, exterior, and truck bed.

Honda Ridgeline

The re-imagined and redesigned truck has a number of trim options available, including the RT, RTS, Sport, RTL, RTL-T. RTL-E, and Black Edition models. Owners will enjoy a 3.5-liter V-6 engine with 280 horsepower, up from 30hp from the previous model.

An Intuitive & Comfy Interior

Honda’s new Ridgeline successfully combines the all of the functionality that you would expect in a midsize truck, with an interior to match. Passengers will enjoy the amble 109 cu. ft. of interior space, as well as the available Tri-Zone Automatic Climate Control to stay cool.

In RTL, RTL-T, RTL-E, and Black Edition trims, the driver and passengers alike will  have a lot to appreciate. Leather-trimmed seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and shift knob will provide an elegant cabin. You’ll also have an 8-inch touch screen display, Push Button Start at your fingertips in these trim levels.

The 60/40 Split-Lift-Up rear seats allows for multiple seat configurations, which will allow you to store groceries, camping gear, and even your bike.

A More Than Capable Truck on the Outside

Of course, the truck bed and it’s capabilities are very important when it comes to a pickup. In the new Honda Ridgeline, Honda designed a smarter bed. In the back, the Ridgeline is capable of handling a 1465 lb. payload.

The versatile, dent-resistant truckbed is wide enough to fit a 4X8 sheet of plywood, and conceals a locking 7.3 cu. ft.  under-floor well with a drain plug. Think of the this as being able to store your wet gear, or use as a mobile cooler for tailgates. The bed also features an available 150W/400W outlet that will allow you to your power tools or even a TV.

AWD-Perfect for Connecticut Winters

As all Connecticut residents know, winters in CT can bring tons of snow and ice. The 2017 Ridgeline has an available AWD system that can be changed for a number of terrain settings (Normal, Snow, Mud, and Sand). You’ll be able to handle whatever Mother Nature throws at you.
