Our Mission & History

We're proud to be part of the Clear Automotive Group, which officially formed in 2021 to consolidate two existing dealership groups. However, you can trace our history back much further to 1964, when John Larabee opened one of the first Honda dealerships in America. Back then, Honda only produced motorcycles, but when the brand introduced its first car in 1969, we expanded to offer local drivers a new type of vehicle that emphasized efficiency and affordability.

By 1971, we had outgrown our original location in downtown Manchester and moved to our current facility. While we still sell Honda motorcycles at our nearby powersports store, today we focus on providing the full range of Honda cars, trucks, and SUVs. We have also opened The Collision Shop across the street so that we can handle major repairs and bodywork for our customers.

Today, we remain locally owned and operated, with the second generation of the Larabee family continuing to run our dealership group. We have also continued to innovate and improve the dealership experience, introducing our revolutionary One Person, One Process, One Promise approach in 2023 in preparation for celebrating our 60th anniversary in 2024.
